5/13/13 Tri- State Speedway now has two announcers that will be calling the races for us this year. Please welcome Les Montgomery and Beth Grady, both of whom have strong local roots in Amarillo radio!
If you have not filled out a drivers profile, please do so you and your sponsors can be be recognized by them throughout the night.  You can either fill out a drivers profile on Friday at the sign in booth or submit your online drivers profile (with a picture) to our email address listed in the "Meet the Drivers" page on this site. We look forward to having them on board for the 2013 season!

5/3/13- We have sold all reserved general admission parking spots for this year. This is a great fundraiser for the track and the money raised will be used to fund future projects at  Tri-State Speedway. If you have purchased one of these spots, please get with Stephanie in the concession stand to pick up your orange mirror tag.  If you dont have this orange tag displayed throughout each night, you will be asked to leave the front row. This will be enforced by on site security.  If you designate another vehicle to use your spot, please make sure they have the orange mirror tag and display it properly.

As a reminder, we ask that you do not park along the front row unless you have a reserved spot. Parking behind reserved parking vehicles or in areas marked "no parking" causes congestion along the main thoroughfare behind the scoring tower and grandstands and prevent safety personnel from reaching certain areas of the track.

5/1/13- With race season slated to start in less than a week, Tri-State Karting board members and Tri-State Speedway officials are busy preparing for what is slated to be one of the best opening nights in years. With a solid attendance of cars at both practices, officials expect healthy car counts throughout the year. While drivers and crews are putting the finishing touches on their cars, Tri-State Speedway crews are finalizing details to make the Speedway an even more enjoyable place for racers and fans including the following enhancements

- Continued Free General Admission courtesy of Street Toyota
- No Hassle VIP reserved parking along the fence with customized plaques
(Limited spots are remaining. Please contact Stephanie in the concession for more info

- Redesigned track surface including more banking

- Asphalt paving in general admission parking lot

- Scoring tower addition for raceceiver attendant and announcer

- Concession Stand upgrades to include partnerships with food vendors: Domino's Pizza, Clint and Sons Beef Jerkey, Spicy Mikes Barbeque, and many more

4/24/13
Tri-State Karting
For Immediate Release

The Tri-State Karting Board of Directors have unanimously approved an amendment to the restricted 600 class rules to become more consistent with ASCS 2 rules regarding driver age. Effective immediately, the minimum age for drivers in that class will now drop to 8. There will be no restriction on previous years experience at this time. This will better align Tri-State Karting's rules with other tracks in the area and promote growth of one of our newest classes. if you have any questions or concerns, please contact Dewayne Ellis at 806-584-6620.

4/9/13- The track will be holding a work day on April 13th to finish any work left to be done before the first practice. United Supermarkets has graciously donated hot dogs and hamburgers and our friends at  UAS karts in Dumas will be providing buns. We will have a limited amount of drinks so please bring your own beverage (alcohol free of course). We plan to start at 11am and work until we are finished.

3/11/13 - August 9th will be a DOUBLE POINTS night at the track. Heat and Feature points will be doubled for this night as voted on by the club. If you choose to drop this race, it will cost the driver both of his/her drop nights. The Schedule has been updated to reflect this change.
