This page is designated to spotlighting the members and their weekly success as well as valuable contributions to our organization.  We will need assistance and YOUR input on events, contestants for this page.  So please... DON'T BE SHY!

SPOTLIGHT:  Keith Stovall and the Stovall Racing Family has taken a bad situation and turned it into a fantastic example of contribution to TSK.

In December, some thief broke into the track and stole radiators out of all of the TSK track vehicles.  This amounted to an estimated $3,000.00 loss for TSK.

The Stovall Family has enthusiastically agreed to "take care" of this situation and replace and install the radiators at no cost to TSK.  THIS IS A HUGE contribution to our organization and should be recognized by everyone that races or attends TSK events.  Please show your gratitude in thanking the Stovalls.

SPOTLIGHT:  Gerald Purdy

Gerald is a new board member that exhibits a tremendous amount of energy and pride for TSK.  Gerald is a local business man operating a glass business off of I-27.  Gerald is a great father and has a son that races in the Mini 1.

Gerald Purdy will be in charge of Tri-State Speedway facility upgrades/appearance.  This will include (but not limited to) painting, repair, landscaping and upgrade of the entire racing facility.  This task is a HUGE challenge.   We want our facility to project the appearance of professionalism and present "curb appeal" to our sponsors and fans.

If you would like to contribute, please contact Gerald.  Your ideas and work will be a very valuable contribution to everyone within the TSK family.

Also.... Oakley Smith:  Oakley competed at the 4A district swim meet this weekend (January 28th) and she is now the district champion in the 200 freestyle and the 100 butterfly. She also broke the school record in the 200 freestyle race this weekend.  It's athletes like Oakley that demonstrate incredibly diverse abilities on and off the track.
