THE HAULER

This page is designed to address driver(s) issues and express the stance that the 2012 Tri-State Karting officers and Board of Directors has on issues concerning the following:

A.  Misconduct on and off the track.  There will be a "no tolerance" rule that will be enforced.  ALL actions will be immediate and harsh.  No second chances.  PERIOD.  Fighting on the premises will lead to expulsion from the premises for the remainder of the year as well as legal action.

B.  Illegal or Unapproved parts including but NOT LIMITED to:  engines, chassis, tires, restrictor plates, legal weights,  etc. There will be no tolerance.  Actions will be immediate and harsh.  If your car is inspected and found to be illegal, you will NOT be allowed to return for the rest of the year No second chances.  PERIOD.

C.  We have been notified of recent sales of used cars that contain illegal/unapproved parts.  IF YOU HAVE purchased a car from someone and are not sure if it is legal, it is your responsibility to MAKE IT LEGAL.  You had better know BEFORE you put it on the track.  SEE ABOVE.... No excuses... no second chances.

D.  Any action by any TSK member or participant, on or off the track, that is detrimental to Tri-State Karting, Tri-State Speedway, its collective membership, individual members, elected officers, track officials, track personnel, volunteers, will be dealt with immediately.

E.  The Race Director will enforce clean driving.  Any incidents not deemed by the race director to be a "racing incident" will be BLACK FLAGGED to the offending driver. Driver will exit the track and stop in the scale house for weight.  The driver will then proceed to their pits in a very slow manner.  Any deviation from this will result in expulsion from the track and immediate disciplinary action.   NO TOLERANCE.    The pits are a very busy place for young children and others.  We do not want anyone injured.  SAFETY is our first and foremost concern.

F.  When a YELLOW or RED flag/light is given, drivers will immediately slow their cars or be BLACK FLAGGED from the race. This will be strictly enforced by the Race Director.  Again, proceed slowly through the scale house and pits in a very slow manner.  Any deviation from this format by any driver will result in disciplinary action that will be immediate and harsh.  Safety is our first and foremost concern.

G.  EVERY Driver (according to the current rule book) is responsible for their crew, family, friends and pit.  If a member of your family/crew/friends is involved in an incident, you will be held responsible.

H.  Any concerns that you have will be addressed immediately.
If you have any questions, concerns or ideas, please feel free to contact me.         You must state your name, contact information and affiliation with TSK.                                                                        Anonymous messages will be filed but                        NOT addressed.

Safety is our first priority and communication is key to safety.  RACEceivers will be MANDATORY in 2012.  Please make arrangements to either have your own.  This device is the responsibility of each driver. At this time we will NOT have any to rent.

http://www.raceceiver.com/c~5.php is the link to purchase your own.  A set of ear buds can be purchased through this site or through any electronic store.

These communication devices will be a welcomed asset to safety and the speed at which the races are run off.

The 2012 officers and board have a vision of an organization that will flourish in competition, family environment and advertising/sponsorship.  Our success and future will depend on us all working together to provide entertainment for our spectators.  The amount of spectators are directly proportional to the amount of sponsorship involvement.  It is the vision of Tri-State Karting to make our event the "Place to be on Friday Nights".

RACEceivers will be MANDATORY.
